About Me
I’m Andrea Crossley, CPNP-PC, MSN, and I joined Phelps Health as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner-primary care in 2022. I see patients from newborn to age 18.
I became interested in healthcare at a young age. I initially wanted to be a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) like my dad but later decided to become a nurse. I have 20 years of experience in pediatric nursing mixed with time caring for newborns in the nursery. Most recently, I worked in the Pediatrics Department at Phelps Health.
I decided to further my education to become a nurse practitioner to be able to provide more advanced care to the pediatric population in the clinic setting. I try to form a strong connection between my patients and their families. I strive to treat every patient and their family like they are my own.
I grew up in Missouri and am a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. I also have been a DAISY Award honoree and nominee. My hobbies include listening to live music, cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals, and spending time with my family.
I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.
