Mallikarjuna Bagewadi Ellur, MD, FAPA

I'm Mallikarjuna Bagewadi Ellur, MD, a psychiatrist who joined Phelps Health Behavioral Health in 2017. I earned my medical degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, India. I completed my psychiatry residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center (Einstein Health Network), an affiliate of Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

My special interests include early-onset psychosis, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, substance abuse disorders in children and adults, behavioral medicine and consultation-liaison psychiatry.

I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.
