In July 2024, Mary Graham, MD, retired from Mercy in St. Louis after practicing for several years as a board-certified radiation oncologist. Dr. Graham previously worked at Phelps Health for 15 years, where she served as chief of the medical staff, Phelps Health Foundation board member and cancer committee chairman. She earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and completed her residency in radiation oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Graham also taught at Washington University as an assistant professor, has published extensively and is the recipient of several medical awards.

Dr. Graham and her husband have called Rolla home for 25 years. They are the parents of four children, three of whom have pursued medical careers.

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading and staying active. The Rolla area has provided a beautiful place to raise children and explore nature.

“When I worked for Phelps Health, I was very active in improving patient care,” Dr. Graham said. “I have great respect for my fellow board members and see serving as a way to give back to my community.”
