What: Phelps Health is hosting a Spinning Babies® Workshop, led by Emma Moreland, a certified professional midwife and Spinning Babies® approved trainer. This innovative method helps babies rotate more easily, making birth easier for mothers.
After this workshop, healthcare professionals will be able to do the following:
• Enhance comfort during pregnancy and make childbirth easier for patients
• Improve fetal position without manipulating the fetus
• Identify issues quickly
• Discover gentle actions to shorten long labors or avoid cesareans
• Resolve malposition and labor dystocia with less (or no) force

• Cost: $255.
• Refreshments: Light refreshments will be provided.
• Attire: Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement (no jeans or buckles).
• What to Bring: If you have them, please bring pillows/bolsters, a yoga mat, an exercise or peanut ball, and a doll and
pelvis model.
• Parking: The DDCI has a private parking lot in front of and on both sides of the building.
• Continuing Education: Continuing education credits may be available for some participants. Please refer to
