Claudia Martinez Rosales, FNP-BC

I am Claudia Martinez Rosales, FNP-BC, a board-certified family nurse practitioner. I see both children and adults for ear, nose and throat (ENT) and allergy concerns. My collaborating physician is Phelps Health ENT/Allergy physician Brian Kriete, MD.

I specialize in managing conditions such as allergies, chronic sinus infections, hearing loss, thyroid diseases, vertigo (dizziness) and skin lesions. Additionally, I provide postoperative follow-up care, ear wax removal, and removal of foreign objects from the ears and nose.

I chose a career in healthcare because I want to help others and make a positive impact on their lives. I joined Phelps Health in 2021 as an RN in Surgical Orthopedics. After completing my master’s degree and becoming a family nurse practitioner, I changed my focus to ENT/allergy care. My passion for this specialty stems from the unique challenges it offers and the ability to help patients quickly resolve certain issues that affect their quality of life.

Originally from Cuba, I moved to the United States in 2014, and lived in Miami, Florida, for 7 years before relocating to Missouri in 2021. I am married and am the proud mother of a daughter (and two cats). Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, dancing, trying new recipes, and spending time with my family and friends. I also love experiencing the changing seasons in Rolla.

I strive to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for my patients. My nursing background helps patients feel comfortable during their visits. Being fluent in English and Spanish ensures they feel understood. I work to build trusting relationships, so that everyone feels heard and respected.
