Phelps Health has a long history of serving the same community that originally came together to open Phelps County Memorial Hospital in 1951. Phelps Health is here today because the community worked together, campaigned and donated time and money – all to create a public hospital in Phelps County. In return, Phelps Health is dedicated to supporting and serving our six-county area as it grows and prospers.
Phelps Health provides many free and low-cost services and collaborates with local entities to improve access to healthcare, health education and health services. Our goal is to strengthen the overall health of our population with particular emphasis on aiding the less fortunate. At Phelps Health, community benefit is not just an obligation; it is part of who we are.
In our annual Community Benefit Report, we highlight ways Phelps Health provides community benefit. We hope you enjoy taking a closer look at Phelps Health.
