You listened and were very knowledable, understanding, and caring.
The provider carefully listened to me and answered my questions and concerns thoroughly.
The appointment was scheduled for 2:45 PM. At 3:45, we still hadn't seen the doctor. We made the decision to give the physician 10 more minutes to come in to the room otherwise we were going to leave. At the 8 minute mark, the doctor came in and was cheerful, pleasant but not apologetic for being over an hour late. There were only a patient or two in the clinic, but it was not enough to account for that much of a delay in being seen. Patients have schedules also. An hour late is not acceptable!!! This isn't the first time this has happened but it's definitely the longest wait past scheduled time. Being a patient doesn't mean that patience is ongoing. We will likely leave the office if this happens again. He's a good doctor, in spite of his visit notes being inaccurate.

Let the people know what to with the patient instead waiting on the nurse to explain how to take of the patient from the beginning of his recovery.
Provider should spend time talking to the patient not at them. Did not seem to review my chart to see what has been done since last visit. Listened to my concern well enough to write in the clinical notes after the visit that I denied any other concerns WHATSOEVER. This is a blatant lie. I spoke of what I felt is a major concern and nothing was addressed about it. Hard to hear your patients when the provider is in the room for 2 minutes. Will most likely be looking for another provider elsewhere as this information will not actually be looked at or into.
Why, in EPIC, do you ask me for what my visit is for, and then I give long and detailed answers to that inquiry, and then the nurse and provider ask me why I am there - and then when I say it's in the EPIC portal, neither of them could find it?!?

I like that the provider listened to me. Over the last year, everybody has been telling me that what's wrong is actually something different. And within minutes of me walking in, he listened and took in what I was saying and confirmed exactly what I had been suspicious of for over the year. I believe it's a waste of money to make an appointment just to make another appointment. When I went in for my visit, he looked at my EKG. I was there for two seconds and he said, okay, let's schedule another appointment for all these tests. I think we should be able to come in for that appointment when we take the test. I don't know if that's even possible. But it just seems like it's a big waste of time and money not to do it all while you're there instead of having to take multiple days off work.

When a doctor is running an hour behind on his appointments, the first words out of his mouth need to be," I apologize or I'm sorry". Not just come in the room and rush you out as fast as possible to play catch up.

Dr. Voight 's office staff was very friendly and helpful and so were the nurses. And Dr. Voight himself, he's a great surgeon, a great doctor. His reputation precedes him and I've had him do some surgeries before and I think that he is just a very thorough, good doctor and I'm thankful he's in Rolla.
Everything was fine
The entire care team from the clinic to the ER to the ward and surgery/recovery were highly competent and motivated. They were polite and went out of their way to make my wife comfortable and welcomed. From physicians nurses technicians and the young men/women tasked with moving my wife around the hospital. I spent almost 26 years in the Army Medical Department and rarely met up with as highly motivated young care team. They went far beyond expectations to include calling Walmart in St Robert at the end of the day to ensure that the prescription was ready before it closed. What could have been a miserable 45 wedding anniversary experience wasn't due to the kindness shown
