Dr. Virk was very attentive and professional. He took my concerns seriously and proceeded with a plan of care. The office staff was helpful and friendly.
Billing codes still tend to be an issue. The code wasn't written correctly on the blood test order or at least there was some confusion. I so don't trust billing.
It is always a pleasure to discuss issues with Dr. Sobarano! He is always the true professional!

Dr. Gorrell always does a great job listening to me and she always knows my medical history and the medicines I'm taking. She looks at all angles and listens to me and tries to find the best solutions for any issues I'm facing. I feel that Dr. Gorrell is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Morrison is an excellent provider and Phelps Health could use more like him. I did have a bad experience regarding contacting the cardiology clinic following my appointment but I have been informed that is being addressed.
Dr Voight and team are excellent. Dr Voight is my choice of surgeons over St Louis or Columbia. He was a young surgeon when I worked surgery-orthopedic floor as an RN. there was never a time I questioned his skill or dedication, and that continues even more today. His knowledge and skills are excellent. He has always impressed me with his true caring nature for his patients, always seeking the best care to improve his patients lives. He is the only physician I would ever allow to care for me as he looks at the patient whole person and all of of the comorbidities before proceeding with a plan of care. This man was born to practice medicine as a surgeon. He is such an asset to Phelps Health I thank God for having him to care for me.

We waited for over an hour in the exam room and no one came in to tell us it would be a while and that the doctor had to go to a meeting.

We're very lucky to have Phelps Health around here. It's a clean facility. You can get just about anything you need done there. The only problem is the parking. You need to do something about the parking. If you're handicapped, you walk with a walker, and you've got to park a long ways off, it's not good. Thank you.

The care I received was very good. However I would like to say something about the seat cushions in the waiting room. They're all worn and scuffed in the very front and it looks bad. I overheard 2 other people in the waiting room make comments about them being worn.
Steve and the rest of the staff was very accommodating, very easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable going to him for my heart evaluation.

The provider carefully listened to me and answered my questions and concerns thoroughly.
The appointment was scheduled for 2:45 PM. At 3:45, we still hadn't seen the doctor. We made the decision to give the physician 10 more minutes to come in to the room otherwise we were going to leave. At the 8 minute mark, the doctor came in and was cheerful, pleasant but not apologetic for being over an hour late. There were only a patient or two in the clinic, but it was not enough to account for that much of a delay in being seen. Patients have schedules also. An hour late is not acceptable!!! This isn't the first time this has happened but it's definitely the longest wait past scheduled time. Being a patient doesn't mean that patience is ongoing. We will likely leave the office if this happens again. He's a good doctor, in spite of his visit notes being inaccurate.

Let the people know what to with the patient instead waiting on the nurse to explain how to take of the patient from the beginning of his recovery.
Provider should spend time talking to the patient not at them. Did not seem to review my chart to see what has been done since last visit. Listened to my concern well enough to write in the clinical notes after the visit that I denied any other concerns WHATSOEVER. This is a blatant lie. I spoke of what I felt is a major concern and nothing was addressed about it. Hard to hear your patients when the provider is in the room for 2 minutes. Will most likely be looking for another provider elsewhere as this information will not actually be looked at or into.
Why, in EPIC, do you ask me for what my visit is for, and then I give long and detailed answers to that inquiry, and then the nurse and provider ask me why I am there - and then when I say it's in the EPIC portal, neither of them could find it?!?

I like that the provider listened to me. Over the last year, everybody has been telling me that what's wrong is actually something different. And within minutes of me walking in, he listened and took in what I was saying and confirmed exactly what I had been suspicious of for over the year. I have no complaints at all. Everything went about as well as could be expected.
She exceeded my expectations with care and concern about issues she noticed while removing my stitches.
Dr Moravec was respectful and amusing. FAB bedside manner. I will actually show up for the colonoscopy. The lady who called (don't remember her name) about preop was funnily informative but respectful. They understand that this is distressing and invasive. And they made me less fearful of the procedure. I deeply appreciate them.

I believe it's a waste of money to make an appointment just to make another appointment. When I went in for my visit, he looked at my EKG. I was there for two seconds and he said, okay, let's schedule another appointment for all these tests. I think we should be able to come in for that appointment when we take the test. I don't know if that's even possible. But it just seems like it's a big waste of time and money not to do it all while you're there instead of having to take multiple days off work.

When a doctor is running an hour behind on his appointments, the first words out of his mouth need to be," I apologize or I'm sorry". Not just come in the room and rush you out as fast as possible to play catch up.
