Dr Hurley always listens and is kind. The front desk staff are courteous and prompt. I had communication issues with the LPN that roomed me. Her English is not good. I'm not sure my answers to her questions were understood and/or documented correctly. I felt she was more concerned with filling a box than documenting an accurate account of my health.
Attitude and willingness to talk to me makes a huge deal. They have done that and beyond!!!

The only reason for anything less than a 10 is how many weeks out I have to schedule an appointment.

The staff seemed overwhelmed at times. They would check on you. Do thier jobs, but if you needed ice water it could take over an hour because they would have to attend some more important.

Everyone listens to you with respect. Everyone treats you with respect. Dr. Hurley listens and when you ask, I mean, you don't even have to ask and he helps you to find ways that you can overcome your obstacles. And he's wonderful. I always look forward to coming to my appointments. And I look forward, you know, to the recommendations that he has. And he always remembers stuff like if he thinks I need to see someone, he's right on it. And, you know, I immediately get a phone call from you guys, scheduling an appointment with wherever I need to go and whatever I need to do. And he's just absolutely wonderful. The transplant team thinks he's amazing. And I think he's amazing. And I'm so glad I found him. And I would recommend him to everyone, everyone. He's a wonderful doctor. He's smart.
I was SO pleased to see a change in the office staff and nurses to the positive They went from 0 to 10 in my mind. Please stay that way. Barbie Fulton has always been wonderful. One knows she really cares.

I am new to the area and felt very respected and welcome. The only thing that I had a concern about was the age of the building. Phelps is a large corporation it should be able to provide each building a suitable, welcoming and aesthetic enviroment. A start would be a side table in the waiting room and new chairs. I think the employees would also welcome some renovation. For my labs I went to the medical building by the hospital. I believe it's off of 10th. Although the hospital looked very nice and welcoming, Again the medical building next door is very dated and could definitely be updated. Again with regards to the doctors, phlebotomist, nurses, and front desk in both medical buildings They were great! Bless their hard work and dedication..
My symptoms were unique to me and the provider carefully explained everything in way that I could understand.

This was an initial visit. Everything was done as I would expect. It was professional and cordial.
Staff was prompt and courteous. I actually got in at my appointment time. They also worked in labs while I was there. Thank you to the lab phlebotomist for working me into an already busy schedule I'm sure.

You actually get called back at your time or a little after. Everyone is friendly and Dr.Hurley listened to all my concerns and we set up a game plan.

Dr Hurley took the time to understand my current situation with acute and chronic issues. His nurse was great and the front office worked as a team to make sure I was checked in. It would be great if Dr Hurley and his staff had longer availability at the Salem clinic.

The NP was the first in a long time to listen, understand and explain. She looked for best routes of care based off of my symptoms and established back up plans for the future. She communicated well, gave advice and even listened to my spouse who was present during my exam.

Provider seemed to not remember previous abdominal issue. Area of blood drawn has extensive bruising 3 days after appointment. Acquaintance familiar with the field said my vein was blown out.

I've been going to this facility for several years, and I have not ONCE, ever, had a bad experience. Every single person actually goes above and beyond ANY expectations, and that includes talking on the phone, messaging through Mychart, and especially, in person.
