The staff and NP were amazing. The issue of unclean were the kids in the waiting room, CLEARLY sick, coughing and hacking and touching everything (albeit the parents SHOULD have done something but didn't) should have to wear masks. NO I'm not an everyday mask endorser, quite the opposite, but I was uncomfortable being in the waiting area. I love this staff, the assistants, NPs, and doctors. Thank you for the quality and kindness!
Yes, the provider was awesome. The nurses were awesome. The front staff was awesome. I understand that it's cold and flu season and the wait was a little long with three hours, but I understand seeing how most of the majority of the people were there were kids and people with pops and stuff. Other than that, the place was very clean and I appreciate that always. Thank you.
Aside from the 45 minute wait in the waiting room and the hr wait in the exam room. Provider was very knowledgeable and thorough in her assessment and explained things very well.

Spent 2 hours waiting to be told my son's ear would be fine. His eardrum ruptured the next night. Thanks a lot to a useless provider that could have helped before it got worse. Extremely irritated with your provider who obviously doesn't know what he is doing and shouldn't hold a medical license!

Everyone out front was funneled.into individual waiting rooms, where we waited for over 1 hr. Our son-in-law came in also, ten minutes behind us. He had to wait over an hr also.

Timely banner listened intently, followed through with explanations
Very courteous staff. They had an emergency which out them behind, however, what I found confident in the doctor stayed with that patient until they were transported out which told me she is a great doctor.
Even though it was packed and wait times were long, the doctor was focused and listened carefully-it felt like I had her full attention and did not feel rushed.

I was called into the exam room early to have my stitches removed so I would not be further exposed to several sick people and children in the waiting room. I really appreciated that.

I tried going in the night before at 5:42pm and was told they are closed when sign on your door says 6 nobody in waiting room I pretty upset they could have got me in and out. Next day I was in line at 7:50 didn't get into room till 9:22 then waited in room almost 15-20 minutes. I had be at work at 10 so it was frustrating how long it took.
Everyone was professional and polite. They listened well to me.
The provider Sally did not even know why I was there. My PCP called her and set up my appointment in person. The ct scan was provided in advance showing a Mass on my kidney's and cysts on my liver. I had to let her know when she was ready to dismiss me after a urine specimen. I was surprised and had to tell her myself.
It was a quick visit that had my child feeling better.

She always remember things about you that makes you know she cares about her patients. She is personable and explains things so thoroughly. Sydney listens and tailors every experience to the patient. She is an amazing provider.

Cody was outstanding, he explained the results of my COVID swab. He examined me, ear, throat, lungs then explained the meds he was prescribing and why! My overall experince was outstanding.

The nurse practitioner was good. I have no complaints about that, but I did have to, I was in the room for almost an hour and a half before I saw anybody, and my entire visit took three hours total, which is unacceptable.
Great from start to finish. If we need an urgent care, we will go there.

Well, I got there and got in plenty of time, but I had to wait a long, long time and I had an invalid at home and I was worried. So I think when we left there was only two people in the office and they were not people that had been there when I first went in. So I think they took everybody aside from me and got to us last. I was not pleased with that. Sorry.

How you could have improved the experience is have someone tell me when I came in with an earache and a sore throat that, oh, you're not sick. It's just a viral thing. It'll run its course. Not something I wasted, wanted to waste $25 in an hour's wait for. So there you have it.
The doctor took the time to explain the treatment he recommended and it's working well.
They listen to me and let me explain exactly how I've been feeling for a week and that nothing had helped me and because I don't have a spleen my old doctor used to give me a anabiotic shot to help get things kick started so they obliged me and gave me the shot and the anabiotic and a steroid and I feel 100% better than I did I appreciate the way they listen to me.
The nurse would have been better to be polite, document the reason I gave as to why I came in and NOT WHAT SHE WANTES OR THOUGHT I was coming in. The doctor didn't listen when I tried correcting the nurse's incorrect documentation. The provider didn't give me a chance to explain all my symptoms. I have a sinus infection, not a viral cold. In the 24 hours since seeing the provider, I am so much worse. The provider should not be practicing. The nurse should not be rooming patients. The front desk staff should not brush off a patient.

After being turned away by Mercy, I came to Phelps in Waynesville for the first time. They were super understanding and polite and treated me with respect and urgency. I will continue to come here instead of Mercy and appreciate all the staff that I had interacted with that night.
The staff greeted me. They were all very professional and courteous. They got us in quickly and they knew what was going on with me from the very start and they explained things in ways that I could understand it. I was very, very happy with everything that was done. Keep up the great work.
As a suggestion , when the waiting area is full, the front desk personnel should ask their questions about person info quietly. My identity has been stolen numerous times and I like to be proactive about how my info is overheard , especially when people are standing immediately next to you. There's too many ways people can record or write down everything because there is no privacy in that particular waiting area. Your staff were friendly and competent but I will avoid that clinic for that reason in the future
I didn't like the wait time to get checked in.
I feel that the visit was very personable. I felt completely comfortable with the front desk staff and with the physician. She honed in on my issues and discussed my diagnoses with a plan for me to move forward. I was very satisfied with the outcome.
Provider kept talking over me, trying to explain why my experience/ story didn't matter. Felt like they just didn't believe me for a sensitive topic like urology.
Based on my respective appointment, I was very pleased with my visit overall.

My wait time was short. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Staff were attentive and friendly.
I was very pleased with the communication from everybody and being able to feel like they were actually listening and caring about, especially when they took my blood pressure over again just to check it and make sure things were going right. But I love Jennie. Jennie was wonderful. The practitioner was great. She was just what I needed at the time. She gave me a great deal of confidence in what she was doing and what she was saying and how she was treating me and I appreciate it tremendously. And I would go to her as my primary if I knew where she did any kind of a practice. So if anybody wants to get back with me about that, that would be great.
