Smart strategies to maximize your charitable giving before the end of the year.
The Phelps Health Foundation will host an educational planned giving event to help donors and community members understand their year-end charitable giving options. Presenters will explain donor-advised funds (DAFs), which let you set aside money for charity now and decide later where it goes. They will also cover required minimum distributions (RMDs) and qualified charitable distributions (QCDs), which let people age 70½ and older give directly from a retirement account.
The goal is an approachable, educational event that highlights practical strategies to consider when making year-end giving plans.
