About Me
I’m Brady Floyd, DO. I joined Phelps Health in September 2025 and am board certified in pediatrics and internal medicine. I care for patients of all ages, treating conditions such as strep throat, ear infections and flu, as well as providing well-child visits and routine physical examinations. I am also trained in complex care management, coordinating care for pediatric and adult patients with challenging health and social needs.
I grew up in Salem and chose a career in medicine after seeing the number of local providers steadily decline. After medical school, I returned to care for patients in the community where I was raised. I focused on pediatrics to bring that specialized care back to local families, and I also offer family medicine so I can continue caring for patients when they graduate from pediatric care.
Phelps Health is a good fit because it provides my patients access to a broad network of specialties while allowing me to work in Salem, where I live.
When I’m not working, I enjoy the outdoor activities our region is known for, including camping, hiking and fishing with my wife and three children. I also enjoy gardening and relaxing with my family and our dachshund.
I offer my patients comprehensive, compassionate care that supports them through every stage of life. I hope to have a lasting, positive impact on the health of both the individual patient and the wider community. My patients are also my friends and neighbors, and I want them to feel that I’ve cared for them.

They did everything right on that day
The doctor took time and I felt like he really listened and care about my needs. The nurse was the same way and explained that she understood where I was coming from due to having the same thing in the past and present.
I can not think of anything your group could do better everyone is considerate and pleasent

My first visit to Phelps Health. The registration staff was so nice and helpful. My first visit with Brady Floyd. He was everything I had hoped he would be. The nurse was very welcoming and had a great sense if humor. I have to say my first visit was wonderful!
Everyone was great as far as I was concerned. They were each very polite and courteous. And gave you time to answer any questions if you wanted to! I was very pleased the first time I was there with everyone being very pleasant and helpful! And it has not changed at all. They are all just great!!

Everything went very well.
Everything was really good but I had one little problem with my insurance and it's slowed things down on what I needed the office called me and told me I need to change to my new provider I had a little bit of a problem but everything so far is working out good the only thing I'm working on now is I need my CPAP machine but now I know it is in progress now I just have to wait to receive my CPAP machine I need to breathe well at night again. Just waiting on the CPAP provider now .
Made me feel like you really cared!
I would just like to say that they did well taking care of me, but I need, I think I still need more tests. I think I need some tests for like lupus or arthritis because it runs very rapidly in my family. Other than that, I'm very pleased. I don't know. They may have run that test. I'm not sure.

Front desk girl was very polite and had a lot of patience when I was slow to answer. The nurse was the same way. The doctor listened to my problems and didn't make me feel as though I was wasting his time. He lended an ear to my complaints very patiently. I'm so glad I switched to him.
I don't think it good idea that they can talk bad about other patient and many patients outside waiting room can hear their conversation. this is the one schedule .appointment did talking bad about the patient.so I'm pretty sure they going to talk about me too ....who knows there no windows there at front desk that they can close.I would like to say I don't want hear about what they complain about other patient to the worker and just so upset about it and I told myself really.but I can tell people in Rolla hospital front desk more nicest than.people in Salem Clinic they not nice....I don't like them .but I like Dr Floyd and I will be glad and happy to be his patient

I was very pleased with Dr. Floyd and the staff there at Phelps Health. I will recommend it to my family and friends. I am very satisfied. He listened to me and took time to go over my meds, and I'm very appreciative for Dr. Floyd and his nurse and all the staff that's in Phelps Health. As always, I like Phelps Health and I want to keep Phelps Health always. The only people I trust is with Phelps Health. I've been to many doctors, been treated unfairly in a lot of places. And I feel I'm going to be treated fairly at Phelps Health in Salem or in Rolla. At Phelps Health Medical Center, the hospital is very great and I like that and that's where I want to be.

We have went through about 8 to 10 doctors on problems that I've had and as far as out of the 8 to 10, Brady's been way up there. He was a kind, considerate doctor. He listened, he explained stuff. He does referrals fast. The last lady wouldn't put in referrals for us. She was late on our medicine. She was everything. Brady's punctual. He's a good doctor. Don't change the doctor, guys. He's a good doctor.
The lady that drew my blood did a great job. She held conversation with me that distracted from the blood draw. I came with a laundry list of things that I wanted to talk about and, between the nurse and the provider, everything was covered.
This was our first time coming to the Salem location and I was happy with the experience. Everyone was polite and professional.
Dr. Floyd gave me a complete and thorough question and answer period and he is very, very keenly aware of what I am about, what I need and I look forward to my next visit. He's a good doc as far as I can tell and he likes to fish too.
