About Me
I'm Larry Mazzeo, AuD, a doctoral level clinically practicing audiologist for Phelps Health.
In addition to my extensive experience in clinical practice, I'm also an instructor/consultant for Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, for the doctoral program in audiology. I actively work with the university in the training and education of doctoral students in audiology, providing them not only the coursework but the practical experience to obtain their degree.
My wife is Kathryn, and we have two daughters, Amy and Elise. Prior to working for Phelps Health, I was a clinical faculty member and audiologist with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where I worked with Judyann Krenning, MD.

Greeted nicely. Dr Mazzeo explained why I was having a problem with my hearing aid and remedied it. He told me not to wait until the next visit if it happened again
Arrived very early for appointment and was taken back immediately. Appreciate the kindness of all staff!
I came in the day before my appointment to see if I could get it moved up or back, and they were able to get me in right then on the spot to take care of my hearing aids and clean them and test them. And they just went above and beyond. They were really fantastic. Thanks.
Everyone is polite and professional, but Dr. Mazzeo is just the best. He's just a very compassionate, caring provider, and as well as being, you know, incredibly efficient and good at what he does, but I really appreciate his compassion.

Nothing. I can't ever imagine going anywhere else for care. Dr. Mazzeo and his Staff are phenomenal.
The Nurse had no manners. Treated me like what I was saying did not matter and it seemed that all she wanted to do was get back to talking to her friends. The same thing happened when she gave me the order paperwork.

I answered yes definitely on nurses but I think you should have a N.A. as I did not have a nurse only the Doctor to check my hearing aid .

Dr Mazzeo took the time to really check my hearing aides. He provided me with a loaner pair until I can get an order for a hearing test. Then he said he would recommend newer, better hearing aids for me

There could have been bacteria on the headgear that was not killed off by their sanitizing solution, because I got several pimples from the head gear on my forehead and cheek the next day, but the doctor himself was great, very thorough and knowledgeable and I would recommend him to family and friends
Well, one might have been an error. Anyway, had no questions and no problems.
