About Me
I’m an interventional cardiologist at Phelps Health. I see adult patients (ages 18 and up) at the Phelps Health Heart and Vascular Center. I have over 15 years of cardiology experience.
After completing medicine with honors and distinctions, I was awarded the Beit Fellowship. In the United Kingdom, I earned a PhD in cardiovascular research as The Bristol Myers Squib Cardiovascular Prize Fellow, focusing on cardiac regeneration and stem cell therapies where I was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).
Medicine allows me the opportunity to apply scientific, evidence-based knowledge to improve the quality of life for patients. My interest in the anatomy and physiology of the heart led me to specialize in cardiology.
As an interventional cardiologist, I practice evidence-based medicine and am passionate about delivering high-quality care so patients get quality care locally, avoiding inconvenient travel. I strive to achieve high patient satisfaction, which is integral in improving the patient experience.
In addition to practicing interventional cardiology, I have keen interests in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a safe, noninvasive scan of the heart using magnetic field generated radio waves, and cardiac computed tomography (CT) imaging, which uses X-rays from different angles to evaluate heart disease.
