The guy who checked me in was not the friendliest person I have ever met. Kind of cold but did call me sir. My wife had about the same experience when she was there with the same person. She said it was like she was wasting his time. Her check in time was listed at 12:15 for the appointment on the MyChart but the clinic was closed until 12:30 for lunch. When the dude opened the door, at 12:30, my wife told him of the situation and he just rolled his eyes and made a breath noise as if she was bothering him with her petty details. My question is, If the clinic is closed til 12:30 for lunch why have patients arrive at 12:15? You have to stand in the hallway cause there's no place to sit other than on the hallway carpet. A bench or a chair or two would be nice for us old people, and those with mobility issues or both. We are in pain, hence going to the Pain Clinic, if we have to wait, at least let us sit while waiting.
Front desk clerk could have been having a bad day but there was no smile, no friendliness and was abrupt. When I had severe pain issues it took 3 months to get an appointment opening for Pain Management. Not good.
Addressed my issues where other doctors have ignored and didn't try to force a colorectal exam down my throat.
The pain management team is critical for all ages and particularly appreciated by aging patients.I encounter a staff that is respectful of our age and experience as we describe how to live with reoccurring pain. Many thanks for aiding the journey we take as our bodies change and deal with chronic issues.

What I appreciate is that the PA, and the doctor, they listened to me. They listened to what I had to say and I listened to what they had to say. And I'm glad that they just didn't go, we can't help you. You're not getting drugs. We don't give out drugs and don't care about my health. They care about my health and they said that there was something else they could do to help my back.

Yes, I had had a surgery and was taking my medication as prescribed and was told I was popping my medication like Tic Tacs.
The provider explained why I had the pain, where the pain actually came from and why it existed. Very informative. I appreciate them taking the time to do so. I would definitely, definitely recommend this provider.

Everything was very well explained, options explored, and I felt genuinely cared for by the staff.
Took time to physically check out issues, explained what their plan was to use X-Rays & MRI to identify in detail the cause. X-Rays done same day, received results the next day on phelps health mychart. Received call the very next day to schedule MRI. Scheduled MRI earliest possible date, which was within two weeks.
