Our Vision
Our vision is to be a residency program that shapes physicians who will change their practices, communities and the world through compassionate advanced family medicine. We envision graduates who will serve with humility, integrity and excellence; who will live balanced and meaningful professional lives; and who will carry forward a deep respect for the intrinsic value of every human life. Always looking toward the horizon—without abandoning the wisdom of the past or the realities of the present—we seek to influence healthcare locally, regionally, nationally and globally for the good of those most in need.
Our Mission
Our mission is to seek out and train family physicians of the highest character (hardworking, teachable, humble and compassionate) who are called to care and driven to serve. We provide rigorous training in advanced family medicine that extends beyond traditional full-scope practices, equipping residents with many broad and adaptable skills to meet the needs of all populations. We are committed to serving well—never using others for our gain—honoring the intrinsic value of every life and preparing our graduates to make a meaningful impact locally, regionally, nationally and beyond. Throughout training, we seek to align education, support and mentoring with what is best for our residents and their families, supporting the development of balanced, satisfying professional lives built on a solid foundation.
