Phelps Health Featured by Forbes as a Top Employer for Second Year

Forbes business magazine has once again recognized Phelps Health as one of Missouri's best workplaces, placing it among the top group of employers in the state. This marks the second straight year (2023 and 2024) that the healthcare system has received this prestigious honor, highlighting its consistent excellence as a workplace.

The Forbes list comes from an extensive survey that gathered responses from more than 160,000 people across the United States. To be considered for this recognition, companies needed at least 500 employees. Forbes took a thorough approach by examining information from the past 3 years to ensure companies demonstrated lasting excellence rather than short-term success. The survey collected and analyzed more than 4.4 million employer evaluations nationwide.

The survey focused on two key questions that reveal a company's true workplace quality: Would employees feel confident recommending their workplace to friends and family members? And would other professionals in the healthcare field recommend Phelps Health as a good place to work? These questions help measure both internal satisfaction and external reputation.

For their employer rankings, Forbes partners with market research firm Statista, which publishes hundreds of worldwide industry rankings and company listings with high-profile media partners. This research and analysis service is based on the success of statista.com, the leading data and business intelligence portal that provides statistics, relevant business data, and various market and consumer studies and surveys.
