About Me
I’m Chris Sadler, PA-C, a certified physician assistant, and I see patients of all ages at the Phelps Health Walk-In Clinics in Rolla and Waynesville. I joined Phelps Health in February 2025 and work closely with my collaborating physician, Rachelle Gorrell, DO.
I treat patients for a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries, including colds, flu, strep throat, ear infections, minor cuts, urinary tract infections, sprains and mild allergic reactions. I also perform procedures such as splinting, suturing lacerations and draining abscesses.
I’ve always been fascinated by physiology—the study of how the body works. When my sister was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, I was inspired by the dedication and compassion of her healthcare team. They motivated me to pursue a career in medicine, where I could make a difference in the lives of others.
I’m originally from Raytown, Missouri, and currently live in Dixon with my wife and our labradoodle. After completing clinical rotations at Phelps Health Hospital, we decided to make this area our home. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports—especially Kansas City teams. Since moving to this scenic region, I’ve also taken advantage of the many outdoor recreational opportunities, including hunting and fishing.
I believe in treating the whole person, not just the illness. As a Walk-In Clinic provider, my goal is to offer compassionate care to address the immediate needs of my patients while considering their overall well-being.
