About Me

I’m Chris Sadler, PA-C, a certified physician assistant with the Phelps Health Orthopedics Department. I joined Phelps Health in 2025 and worked in the Walk-In Clinics before transferring to Orthopedics in March 2026. I work closely with my collaborating physician, Orthopedic Surgeon Michael Potter, MD.

I treat patients for a wide range of fractures, sprains and other orthopedic conditions. I also perform procedures such as splinting, casting, fracture reductions and suturing.

My background in walk-in clinic settings has given me a strong foundation in initial injury care, including early fracture management, wound care and imaging interpretation. That experience helps me understand what patients are going through at the start of their recovery.

I take an individualized, evidence-based approach to help patients restore function, relieve pain and improve their quality of life. I also make sure they understand their condition, their options and what to expect.

I’ve always been fascinated by physiology—the study of how the body works. When my sister was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, I was inspired by the dedication and compassion of her healthcare team. They motivated me to pursue a career in medicine, where I could make a difference in the lives of others.

Originally from Raytown, Missouri, I currently live in Dixon with my wife and our labradoodle. After completing clinical rotations at Phelps Health Hospital, we decided to make this area our home. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports—especially Kansas City teams. Since moving to this scenic region, I’ve also taken advantage of the many outdoor recreational opportunities, including hunting and fishing.

I believe in treating the whole person, not just the injury. My goal is to provide compassionate care while supporting each patient’s overall health and recovery.
