About Me

I’m Maci Feldmann, FNP-C, MSN, a certified family nurse practitioner at the Phelps Health Waynesville Medical Plaza. My collaborating physician is Phelps Health Family Medicine Physician Rachelle Gorrell, DO. I joined Phelps Health in June 2026.

I see patients of all ages for a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including high blood pressure, diabetes and respiratory infections. I also have 8 years of experience as a women’s health nurse and provide birth control management, well-woman exams and Pap tests, in addition to performing IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal.

I was born and raised in Dixon, Missouri, before moving to Columbia, Missouri, and spending a few years as a traveling nurse. In 2023, my husband and I moved back to Dixon to enjoy the slower pace of small-town life and be closer to family. I love being a mom, and I’m looking forward to raising our son and growing our family where my roots are.

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time outdoors hunting, fishing, going to the river or just spending time with family and friends—and our three dogs, who were our first “children.” It’s also very important to me to be involved with our church.

Phelps Health gives me the opportunity to serve the people in my own community, one of the greatest callings in my life. My favorite part of being a family medicine provider is the ability to follow my patients through every stage of life. I love caring for people on both their best and worst days.

I’m a firm believer that patients know themselves better than anyone else. I always take the time to listen closely to their concerns because that’s the best way to build strong relationships. By fostering trust and a healing environment through patient-centered care, I hope to positively impact my patients’ health and promote better outcomes.

I also offer telehealth visits, allowing patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.
