About Me
I’m Patricia French, FNP-BC, and I work as a family nurse practitioner alongside Phelps Health Physicians William Knox, DO, and Glenn Kunkel, MD in the Phelps Health Pain Management Center. Prior to this, I worked as a registered nurse (RN) in the Phelps Health Emergency Department, beginning in 2011.
In the Pain Management Center, I see patients for chronic pain, diabetic peripheral neuropathy (diabetic nerve damage), arthritis, shingles pain, headaches, spinal stenosis (when the space inside the backbone is too small), fibromyalgia (a condition that causes pain throughout the body, along with sleep, memory and mood issues) and more.
Common procedures performed in the Pain Management Center include spinal biopsies, spinal cord stimulation, epidural steroid injections, sciatica injections, intrathecal pain pumps, dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation therapy and more.
I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.
