I'm Syed Mueen Zahoor, MD, a nephrologist with Phelps Health.
I earned my medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed my residency training at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. I completed a fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.

I was treated with respect and kindness.
Talk slow and louder
Every one was very professional and friendly and very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns, very satisfied.
Dr did not listen and was steadfast in hearing himself speak. Instead of helping me or explain something he wanted to argue that he was right about a trivial matter. I wanted to find out how to improve my kidney function or why I am in pain and he says I'm fine. If I have abnormal kidney function labs then clearly I am not fine!!! I will not be back and will be looking for a new referral. Nurse was the best part of the clinic, she listened.
I still have questions for Dr Zahoor that I'll either make an earlier follow up visit than 6 months OR more likely I'll call the office & hopefully talk with one of his nurses for this additional feedback. Dr Zahoor is a consummate professional & I feel very fortunate to be under his care.

I have been seeing Dr Zahoor for a number of years. I have always found him and his staff to be courteous, thoughtful and thorough. I have complete confidence in them. I have never had a negative experience.

Doctor was concerned and caring. Not in a rush, as other providers are at Phelps Health.

I received some bad news form Dr. Zahoor. He told me that I might have to go on dialysis soon. I left depressed and upset over the news.

Waiting time was rathernlong this time. No other complaints.
I arrived at 2:00 as instructed. The nurse took vitals and informed me the Doctor would be in in a few minutes. He did not come into the exam room until 2:56. No explanation or apology was given. My time is also valuable.
DR. Zahoor is a wonderful doctor and is very personable. I am very glad he tracks my kidney health. His office staff and nurses are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

He is a very warm and caring person. He explains things he is concerned about to you in a way you can understand.
Just treat people like people and talk to us like we're human beings don't snot people don't know your dog like we're human beings that's how it is I like the way you talk to people.
