About Me
I'm Timothy Martin, MD, FACC, a fellowship-trained and board-certified cardiologist, who sees patients at the Phelps Health Heart and Vascular Center. I have been practicing cardiovascular medicine since 1992. In July 2000, I joined Phelps Health. My collaborating provider is nurse practitioner Steven Ballard.
In addition to serving as the division chief of the Medical Specialty Division, I am the medical director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Echo/Vascular Lab and the Cardiopulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation program.
I specialize in invasive and diagnostic cardiac catheterization, permanent pacemaker and ICD implantation, peripheral vascular intervention, echocardiograms, nuclear stress testing and clinical research trials.
I work hard to ensure my patients get the best care possible. Outside of work, I enjoy hunting, fishing, skiing, traveling and exercise.
I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.
