On March 7, the St. James Chamber of Commerce honored Phelps Health with its Community Impact Award, a distinction created specifically to honor our deep and longstanding partnership with the St. James community.
The Community Impact award recognizes the influence Phelps Health has on the region as the area’s largest employer—supporting families, strengthening the local economy and contributing to the long‑term stability of our communities. The award also honors our recent investments in employee compensation, clinical excellence, innovative care models and emergency services, as well as our ongoing commitment to advancing health and opportunity across our region.

In addition to the organizational award, the Chamber presented its Volunteer of the Year honor to John Money, senior vice president of human resources and philanthropy at Phelps Health. Money is well known in St. James for his willingness to step in wherever help is needed—often behind the scenes. He has become a dependable resource for the Chamber and a trusted partner to its members, and his service reflects the same dedication to community that Phelps Health has embodied for 75 years.
We are proud of these recognitions and grateful to the St. James Chamber for honoring both Phelps Health and John Money.
