About one in eight women will develop breast cancer during her lifetime. Less than 50% of women in Phelps Health’s six-county service area receive their yearly mammogram despite the potential increased health outcomes that follow early detection. The American College of Radiology recommends yearly mammograms starting at age 40 or earlier if there is an immediate family history of breast cancer.

Why Choose Phelps Health?

Your care is as unique as you, and the healthcare providers at Phelps Health understand the importance of an integrated team approach to ensure the best treatment options. Phelps Health prides itself on the warm, compassionate and talented providers in the Comprehensive Breast Center who ensure each patient is comfortable and well-informed during her visit.

State-of-the-art technology is a standard feature at the Comprehensive Breast Center, and the center boasts an ImageChecker, a method that enhances a traditional mammogram and can detect tumors or an abnormality sooner so patients are able to begin breast cancer treatment as soon as possible.

The Comprehensive Breast Center is located on the first floor of the Medical Office Building, 1050 West 10th Street in Rolla. Services also are offered on the second floor of the Waynesville Medical Plaza in Waynesville.
