About Me
I’m Bohdan Lededowicz, MD, CMD, and I joined Phelps Health in 2011. Also known as “Dr. Dan,” I am an internal medicine and senior care physician and earned the designation of Certified Medical Director (CMD) in 2020. I am certified by The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine/AMDA. My focus is on geriatric practice (for aging adults) in nursing homes.
Geriatric medicine is especially rewarding to me. Our elders are often in need of special attention and to be able to provide that is my passion. I consider it my privilege to help patients cope with diseases and to work towards a cure, when possible.
I am originally from Poland, but now live in Rolla, Missouri. My wife and I have three children and two dogs. Outside of work, I collect car badges and stamps, and like to garden. In addition to English, I speak Polish and Ukrainian fluently. Conversational German and Russian round out my list.
I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.
