About Me
I'm Christine Durbin, a family nurse practitioner at Phelps Health. My collaborating physician is Family Medicine Physician Rachelle Gorrell, DO.
I see patients of all ages for a variety of conditions, such as diabetes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). I also do wellness checkups.
We all work together to put the patient and their family first at Phelps Health.
My mother and older sister were both registered nurses (RNs), and my father was a medic in World War II. My family inspired me to follow in their footsteps and to join them in the healthcare profession.
I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.

I was seen by Chris Durbin and she was very thorough and attentive. The appointment was not rushed and she took time to answer all of my questions. I would compare the experience to the type of care you'd expect from your best friend.

Christine Durbin is very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. I am younger getting my annual physicals and she really takes the time to go through everything and ensures all areas are covered even when she "doesn't have to" like with some patients who have more complex needs. They are the longest doctor's appts I have experienced and that is how the healthcare system should be. She is amazing and I hope to see her for primary care as long as possible.
From when you walk in the door and the girls at the reception area, they're very polite. They're very understanding. They listen to you. The nurse that comes and gets you, again, is polite and she's very easy to talk to. And Chris is a very, very good provider.

I got a same day appointment for 2 different issues. The nursing staff and check in staff worked together to quickly allow me to provide a urine specimen which made me more comfortable while I waited. Thanks! Both the nurse and the NP were supportive and professional and because of their care I am feeling better. Great clinic that I have personally sent 4 new patients to while enrolled there.

Waited in the exam room to long
Only one thing comes to mind. We covered many health issues some of which needed to be followed up with lab work to check progress. I had a difficult time keeping it all straight. Thank goodness for "my chart" I'll just check in with Chris to make sure no test is forgotten.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and easy to talk to. The nurse was easy to talk to and knew what she was doing. Christine Durbin is an amazing nurse practioner. She always remember my past visits. She takes the time to listen to me. And she always explains things in ways I can understand. I have recommended her to several of my friends.

Christine Durbin is a treasure! I and my mother have been seeing her for over 20 yrs and never ever considered finding anyone else in all that time. She listens, believe she cares and if she doesn't have an answer right away, she will get one and contact me with the answer! A TREASURE!

All in all from the staff that meet you to the nurses that take you back into the doctor it was a very very good doctor's visit I got questions answered I got to talk and ask even more questions and everything was great
Chris took her time with me. I was sick and she tested me for everything. Thank you Chris!! Chris nurse was outstanding also very dedicated and determined and they not was awesome.
