Crystal Fleener, FNP-C, APRN

I'm Crystal Fleener, FNP-C, and I joined Phelps Health as a family nurse practitioner in 2008. I see adult patients (ages 18 and up) and work in collaboration with Phelps Health Internal Medicine Physician Pecos Coble, DO. 

I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008 and received my undergraduate degree from Southwest Baptist University-St. John’s College of Nursing in Bolivar, Missouri. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse (RN) in pediatrics at Phelps Health and in surgical services at Salem Memorial Hospital.

I am from Salem, Missouri, and my husband and I have six children. In my free time, I enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, traveling and shopping.

My philosophy of care is patient-centered. I get to know my patients as a person and not as their disease(s. I want to know about their family and what’s most important to them. I want to always treat my patients as I would want my family to be treated, with love and respect. I find that when we have a good relationship with our patients, we can provide the best care to meet all their needs. All patients deserve to have a provider who listens and cares.

I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.
