“Bringing pediatric care back to Salem has been a long-term goal,” Dr. Floyd said. “I’m honored to serve the town that raised me, and to provide local families with quality care close to home.”

As a Salem native, Dr. Floyd is proud to return and care for his hometown. He brings to the community experience in treating everything from ear infections and flu to routine well-child visits—and is also trained to coordinate care for patients with more complex medical or social needs.

“We’re committed to expanding access across our region and reaching smaller communities with the services they need most,” said Jason Bartholomew, senior vice president of medical group operations at Phelps Health. “Dr. Floyd’s arrival in Salem is exciting for young families and reflects our promise to go beyond better for our neighbors and friends.”
