About Me
I’m Logan Shockley, a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) who sees patients in collaboration with Phelps Health Medical Oncologist/Hematologist Kan Huang at the Phelps Health Delbert Day Cancer Institute (DDCI). Prior to becoming an FNP in 2020, I worked as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and a registered nurse (RN).
At the DDCI, I see adult patients (ages 18 and up) for cancer and hematologic (blood-related) issues.
I have always loved helping others. I became an LPN at age 19 and then went on to further my education. I am excited to see what's new in cancer care, and I do my best every day to care for patients and their families during their most challenging moments.
I’m originally from and still live in St. James, Missouri. My husband is a financial advisor, and we are the proud parents of a little boy. Two dogs round out our family. Outside of work, I enjoy bowhunting, gardening and being a mom.
I choose to work at Phelps Health because I grew up close to Rolla. When it comes to knowing and caring for your patients, smaller healthcare systems can’t be beat.
I also offer telehealth visits, which allow patients to visit with me remotely using a smartphone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and audio-video capabilities.
